1. What AcquireLender is

In plain English: AcquireLender is a matching and referral service. You answer a few questions, we show advertisers and example profiles whose published criteria overlap your answers, and you choose whether to apply with any of them.

AcquireLender is a lending-education and click-out referral service. Borrowers pay $0. You answer a short self-reported questionnaire. We return the top 2–3 fits from our config. We do not take loan applications, negotiate terms, or pull credit. A visitor who clicks through leaves this site and applies on the lender’s site.

2. We are not a lender

In plain English: We don’t lend money, make credit decisions, set rates, or process applications. Lending decisions belong entirely to the lenders, see our Advertiser Disclosure for the full picture.

We are not a lender. We do not take applications or fees from borrowers. Do not read these terms as a license claim of any kind.

3. No financial advice

In plain English: Our matches, calculators, and articles are educational tools built from self-reported inputs, not personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. For advice on your specific situation, talk to a licensed professional.

Nothing on the site is financial, legal, or tax advice. Calculators are estimates from the numbers you enter. Articles are education.

4. Rates, estimates & matching

In plain English: Every rate on the site is an estimate (“est. APR*”) from partners or, while sample profiles remain, an illustrative example. A match is not a commitment to lend and is not a preapproval.

Rates, speeds, and credit floors in the directory are example data until a real affiliate partner is approved and swapped into the config. A match percentage is a fit estimate based on what you told us. We do not preapprove anyone. Featured placements are labeled and do not change rank. Home-equity / HELOC / HEI click-out is not live in this build.

5. Eligibility

In plain English: You must be at least 18, based in the United States, and able to enter a binding agreement to use the service.

You must be 18 or older and located in the United States.

6. Accounts

In plain English: Sign-in is currently a local demo. Dashboards may be demo until real auth is live. Keep any future credentials private.

/signin and /signup currently store a mock session in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. Treat the dashboard as a demo until Clerk or another auth vendor is actually wired.

7. Acceptable use

In plain English: Don’t misuse the service, no false information, no scraping or automated harvesting, no probing our systems, and no interfering with other users.

You agree not to submit false information, scrape or harvest the site, interfere with other users, or probe the service for abuse.

8. Lenders & third-party links

In plain English: When you click through to a lender, you leave AcquireLender. The lender’s own terms and privacy policy govern from that point, read them before you apply.

Demo apply buttons are labeled. Their hrefs currently point at example.com placeholders; with JavaScript on they do not navigate. When a live tracking URL exists, click-through is to that lender. Their terms and privacy policy govern after you leave.

9. Intellectual property

11. Indemnification

In plain English: If your misuse of the service or unlawful use creates legal claims against us, you agree to cover the resulting costs. This does not cover our own matching errors.
