1. Information we collect
In plain English: We collect the answers you give the concierge (loan purpose, amount, credit range, timeline, income range), your email and name if you save matches or create an account, and standard usage data like pages visited and buttons clicked.
AcquireLender (operated by Ryan Vaca, a California sole proprietor) collects: (a) concierge answers, purpose, amount, a self-reported credit range, timeline, and optional income range; (b) name and email if you save matches or create an account; (c) standard device and log data (IP address, user agent, pages viewed) generated by hosting the site; (d) when you tap Apply, a click record: which card, whether it clicked out, where on the site you tapped, and the coarse ranges you selected (purpose, credit range, amount band, timeline), kept so we can measure which partners perform. A click record never contains your name, email, or income. We do not collect Social Security numbers, full dates of birth, bank account numbers, government ID images, or a credit report.
2. How we use your information
In plain English: We use your answers to suggest lending fits, your email to save your matches and (only if you opt in) send transactional messages, and usage data to improve the product. No consumer marketing until you opt in.
We use this information to generate match suggestions from our config, to store a session or account you asked for, to send email you opted into, and to improve the product. We do not use your answers to pull credit, to preapprove you, or to send an application to lenders on your behalf.
3. Self-reported data
In plain English: Everything the concierge asks, credit range, income, loan amount, is what you tell us. We don’t verify it, and we don’t pull records from credit bureaus, banks, or employers to check it.
Credit input is a self-reported range (Excellent / Good, Fair, Building / limited / not sure). We do not verify answers with bureaus, banks, or employers. A match is a fit estimate against published or example criteria in our config, not a confirmation of your report.
4. No credit pulls
In plain English: Using AcquireLender never touches your credit report, no hard inquiries, no soft inquiries, nothing. A credit inquiry can only happen later, directly with a lender, after you choose to apply with them.
We do not scan, soft-pull, or hard-pull credit. We do not add Experian, TransUnion, Equifax, Credit Karma, or any “confirm my score” widget. Checking matches here does not affect your credit. The lender checks credit only if you apply with them, on their site.
7. Your choices & rights
In plain English: Email privacy@ to access, correct, or delete your data, close an account, or opt out of optional email. California residents can use the same address.
Email privacy@acquirelender.com to access, correct, or delete information we hold, or to close an account. Opt out of optional email the same way. We do not currently meet California CPPA revenue or 100,000-consumer thresholds, so we do not operate a separate CCPA portal. California residents can still email privacy@ for access or deletion. That status can change; this policy will be updated if it does.
8. Data security & retention
In plain English: Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. We do not claim SOC 2. Session data lives in your browser until you clear it or we have a live account system.
The live site is served over HTTPS/TLS. We do not claim SOC 2, military-grade encryption, or encryption at rest of a production database we do not currently run. Mock accounts and saved matches are stored locally in your browser. Retention: while a live account exists, then as needed for legal or security reasons. Postal address is available on request at legal@acquirelender.com.
9. Children’s privacy
In plain English: AcquireLender is for adults. The service isn’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from minors.
You must be 18 or older to use AcquireLender. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email privacy@ and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
In plain English: If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and flag significant changes on the site before they take effect.
We will update the date above when this policy changes and flag material changes on the site.
11. Contact us
